Every event commits to the hash of the one before it. Editing or deleting a single record breaks verification for everything after it, and the envelope page reports exactly where.
Each link carries a 32 byte random token and only its SHA-256 is kept, so a copy of the database on its own does not let anyone sign as your recipient.
